The compact design and thick probe are easier to install under a pressure pipeline.

TGF200 Micro Gas Flow Meter

The TGF200 series microflow meter measures dry air, nitrogen, and other non-corrosive gas based on thermal mass flow measurement technology. It is designed to measure the mass and standard flow in small pipelines in general industry and laboratory.

Thermal dispersion flow metres are generally employed in pipes and ducts for basic industrial gas flow applications. In contrast, capillary flow metres are primarily used in tubes for smaller fluxes of clean gases.

There are two types of thermal flow meters: constant heating current and constant temperature differential

Coriolis mass flow metres offer the most precise results for most fluids, but they are also the most expensive. They have the benefit of not requiring any prior information of the fluid being transported. Thermal mass flow metres are a less precise but accurate way of measuring mass flow. They do, however, necessitate an understanding of the fluid’s specific heat capacity.
